Sell My Lexus GS in Fresno & Clovis
Plenty of Lexus GS owners around Fresno and Clovis reach the same point: the car still runs, but the next repair costs more than keeping it makes sense. If yours starts, drives, and has a working key, skip the listings — one form, one clear offer, guaranteed for 7 days.
Get my guaranteed offerThe offer we make is the offer you get for 7 days, when the car matches its description. If hidden or unreported damage is found at pickup, any adjustment is shown with photo evidence before you decide.
Selling your GS in Fresno & Clovis
GSs accumulate miles quietly in the Valley: long Highway 99 commutes, cars handed down to new drivers, and daily drivers that have simply outlasted two or three other cars in the same family. A Lexus showing 180,000 or 220,000 miles isn’t unusual here, and it isn’t a problem for us — high mileage is normal for this model and priced into every offer we make.
This span covers the third-generation GS (2006-2011) — sold as GS 300, 350, 430, 460, and the GS 450h hybrid — and the fourth generation (2013-2020) with GS 350, GS 200t/300 turbo, GS 450h, and the V8 GS F performance model. All were rear-drive with optional all-wheel drive, a layout Lexus abandoned when the GS was discontinued after 2020 with no direct replacement. The ES effectively took over its showroom role.
The usual trigger is a shop quote: carbon buildup on direct-injected engines is common on the GS, and water pump and valley plate coolant leaks isn’t far behind it. Faced with that bill, most owners would rather sell the car as it sits. That’s our whole business — we price the problems in and make one clear offer, guaranteed for 7 days.
Lexus GS at a glance: 2006-2020 model years · luxury midsize sedan · every trim considered — what matters is that it starts, drives, and has a working key.

Common GS problems we still buy
The GS has a well-documented weak-spot list. Here it is — and every item on it is something we still buy:
- Carbon buildup on direct-injected engines. The GS 350's 3.5L V6 combines port and direct injection, which reduces but does not fully prevent intake carbon, while the early GS 300's direct-injection-only V6 is notably prone to buildup causing rough idle and hesitation. The turbo GS 200t/300 four-cylinder is direct-injected only and shares the concern.
- Water pump and valley plate coolant leaks. 3.5L V6 water pumps weep with mileage, and V8 models (GS 460 and GS F) are known for coolant leaks at the valley plate under the intake manifold. Either can present first as a slowly dropping coolant reservoir.
- Amplifier and infotainment failure from trunk leaks. Water intrusion into the trunk on fourth-generation cars can damage the audio amplifier, causing total sound loss. Sunroof drain and trunk seal condition are worth checking on any GS with audio faults.
- Suspension and brake wear on a heavy sedan. Control arm bushings, wheel bearings, and brake components wear steadily on these heavy, powerful sedans, and GS F models use costly performance brakes. Uneven tire wear is often the first visible sign of tired bushings.
And if the problem is paperwork rather than mechanical, you’re in the right place: a GS that failed smog, a car with expired registration, or one whose title is lost or in someone else’s name can usually still be sold — those pages walk through each case. We pay at pickup and tow free inside the service area.
How selling your GS works here
Step 1
Tell us about your GS
One short form — year, model, mileage, and 12 quick condition questions. Honest answers are what let us hold the offer.
Step 2
Get one clear offer
We check the real market for your exact GS and send one offer — no instant lowball from a computer. If the vehicle matches its description, the offer is guaranteed for 7 days.
Step 3
We pick it up, you get paid
Free pickup in the Fresno–Clovis area, often as soon as the next day when scheduling allows. You sign, get paid at pickup, and hand over the keys — we handle the smog and DMV paperwork after the purchase.
One honest limit: the car does need to start and drive, and have a working key. Fixable problems are our specialty; a car that can’t move under its own power isn’t a fit.
GS seller questions
My GS has over 200,000 miles. Is that a problem?
High mileage alone doesn’t disqualify a GS — in the Valley it’s the norm for this model. If it starts, drives, and has a working key, report the mileage honestly in the application and we’ll price the whole car, not just the odometer.
How fast can you pick up my GS, and when do I get paid?
Pickup can be as soon as tomorrow in the Fresno–Clovis area when scheduling allows, and you’re paid at pickup — after a quick check that the vehicle matches its description, you sign, get paid, and hand over the keys.
My GS failed smog and the registration is expired. Can I sell it?
Usually, yes. A failed smog check and back registration are two of the most common GS situations we handle — tell us about them in the application and they’re priced into the offer instead of stopping the sale. We handle the smog and DMV side after the purchase.
What GS years do you buy?
We buy the Lexus GS across the 2006-2020 range, and we’ll look at older examples case by case. Condition matters more than the year — a high-mileage GS that starts, drives, and has a working key is exactly what the form is for.
